For the entire month of June, Nelson Boyd Law will be running a social media campaign to support the “Pink Up Port Angeles” initiative started by Soroptimist International of Port Angeles (SIPA). For every “like” that Nelson Boyd Law receives in the month of June, we will donate $5 to this organization.
Soroptimist International is comprised of professional women who donate their time and effort to help improve the lives of women and girls in their communities and worldwide. Every June, SIPA supports Operation Uplift, with its “Pink Up Port Angeles” initiative. Operation Uplift is Port Angeles’ local cancer support group for both men and women. All of the funds donated to Operation Uplift are used to improve the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors and their families. “Pink Up Port Angeles” is a month of activities, fundraisers, rallies and other efforts to raise money to support Operation Uplift. The events include “A Pink Take Over,” where celebrities work as waiters at Chestnut Cottage on June 20th in Port Angeles. The tips these celebrities earn, plus all proceeds from dinner and the rest of the week’s efforts will be donated to Operation Uplift.
As supporters of the work done by both Soroptimist International of Port Angeles and Operation Uplift, we’re offering an additional way to participate in “Pink Up Port Angeles.” For each new “like” to Nelson Boyd’s Facebook page between the dates of May 24th and June 30th, Nelson Boyd will donate $5.00 to the “Pink up Port Angeles” initiative.
